Shankar currently serves as Vice President of Product Management and Innovation at Radixx, where leads the team building best-in-breed intelligent solutions for effective retailing and efficient operations for airlines. With a diverse background across multiple industries, Shankar brings deep analytical expertise coupled with vast experience of building machine learning and data-centric solutions.
Shankar’s journey with airline industry started out with building revenue management solutions at Sabre, where Shankar was part of some of the industry-first revenue management solutions. Subsequently, Shankar led the Analytics and Packaging at Travelocity and Online Retailing at Wyndham Hotel Group. Beyond travel and hospitality, Shankar led the Data Science functions at multiple technology start-ups including Intent Media, Ladders and WeWork.
Shankar holds a Ph.D. In operations research from North Carolina State University.
Shankar’s passion is to find simpler solutions to complex problems, which may very well be with strangers in his foursome on a golf course, or with himself, on a solitary trek to capture a landscape photograph at golden hour.
