Orlando, FL, Jan. 16, 2017 – Radixx International, an industry-leading provider of custom tailored airline reservation, distribution and merchandizing systems, announced that it is working with Air Carnival, the regional carrier based out of Coimbatore International Airport, with a Chennai International Airport hub.
Air Carnival began operations in 2013 as a charter airline, but as of July 18, 2016 offers scheduled flight operations to the southern Indian cities of Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai and Tirupati.
The carrier utilizes a 72-seat ATR 72-500 to provide regional service the states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Air Carnival began with four daily flights on the Coimbatore-Chennai-Madurai route, but is now up to 10 per day. Additionally, flights between Coimbatore and Tirupati are offered four days per week. The carrier plans to increase flight frequency, via the addition of two more aircrafts by the end of February 2017.
